Alternate Professional Development Activities
Guidelines for Alternate Professional Development
Teachers can request permission to attend an alternate professional development activity during CCTC.
All requests must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to the convention.
Teacher may apply if the event meets the following conditions:
- an organized, professional development event that is permitted under the Protocol for Convention Attendance
- cannot be accessed at another time when it doesn’t conflict with convention attendance
- presents the member with a learning opportunity that exceeds what is available at CCTC and will enhance their professional practice
Requests are submitted to the Provincial Association using the online Alternate PD form.
