Calgary City Teachers’ Convention February 12 – 13, 2026

What is included in the booth?

Each 8’ x 10’ and 10’ x 10’ Booth includes:

  • 8′ High Black Backwall Drape and 3′ High Black Sidewall Drape
  • Two (2) 6′ black dressed tables with white vinyl tops and skirted on all 3 sides. This is the booth standard (other table configurations are available prior to January 26th)
  • Booth Carpet – Grey
  • Two (2) Padded dark grey chairs
  • One (1) Booth ID Sign with company name
  • Two (2) Wireless internet connections
  • One (1) 120v, 15 amp, duplex outlet
  • 4 – Exhibitor badges to access the Exhibition Hall. Exhibitor badges do not permit access to keynotes, social events, sessions, workshops or other ticketed activities.
  • Material Handling (Direct to Show Site): PAID BY CCTCA
    • Acceptance and storage of shipped materials up to 3 business days prior to move in.
    • Delivery of materials from the loading dock to booth.
    • Removal, storage and return of empty containers.
    • Delivery of materials from booth to loading dock for move-out

 

What if I prefer a different sized table than the Two (2) 6′ tables that are included?

If you require a different table configuration the following options are available if ordered BEFORE JANUARY 26, 2026. After this date onsite table rental charges apply.

* Option 1: Two (2) 6′ black dressed tables with white vinyl tops and skirted on all 3 sides – this is the booth standard
* Option 2: Three (3) 4′ black dressed table with white vinyl tops and skirted on all 3 sides.
* Option 3: One (1) 4′ black dressed table & One (1) 8′ black dressed table with white vinyl tops and both skirted on all 3 sides.

How can I order additional equipment or services?

Who will clean my booth at the end of each day?

Booth cleaning can be arranged through Global Convention Services visit https://order.globalconvention.ca for more information. Booth cleaning is not included in the cost of your booth.

 

What if I want to hand out food or beverage (no alcohol) samples?

Booths offering food/drink samples are to complete the appropriate forms and abide by the regulations of both Alberta Health Services, the Telus Convention Centre, and the Calgary Marriott Hotel (the Convention Centre’s authorized food and beverage provider).

What are the hours for move-in/out and show times?

Trade Show Schedule:

Exhibitor Move-in Wednesday, February 11, 2026

9:00am – 7:00pm

8:00am – 3:30pm

Booths must remain open Thursday until 3:30 PM

8:00am – 3:00pm

Booths must remain open Friday until 3:00 PM. Please do not dismantle your display prior to show closing

3:00pm – 7:00pm

All display materials to be removed from the exhibit floor by 7:00 PM on Friday.

Exhibitors wishing to store their materials until the Palliser Teachers’ Convention may arrange to do so using the Global Services online ordering portal: https://order.globalconvention.ca

 

Do I need to provide names of my booth staff?

No, names of booth staff are not required. You will receive 4 “Exhibitor” badges per booth. If you do not have the same 4 booth members each day, then within your organization you will need to mange the hand off of the badges. Additional badges will not be provided. There will be a charge to replace lost badges.

An Exhibitor badge is required to enter the Exhibition Hall prior to show opening on Thursday February 12 and Friday February 13 between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 am.

 

Does an Exhibitor badge allow me to attend sessions or Keynotes?

No, the Exhibitor badge does not grant access to sessions or Keynotes or session/workshops.

 

Is parking included?

No, parking is not included in the booth purchase.

 

How do I access the hall on move-in day or before the show is open each day?

When you enter the Convention Centre, take the escalator to the second level and follow signage to the exhibitor entrance. It is a grey door on the west/left side of the exhibit hall. The main glass doors are locked during move-in and prior to show opening. Access through side entrance only at these times.

 

Are children permitted during move-in or move-out?

Due to safety concerns when forklifts and vehicles are in operation, persons under the age of sixteen (16) are prohibited from being in the Space during move-in and move-out.

 

Are pets permitted during move-in, move-out or show days?

Animals or pets, except for service animals, are not permitted in the Convention Centre unless it is an approved exhibit, activity or performance legitimately requiring the use of animals; written approval must be obtained from the Convention Centre prior to animal or pet being brought into the facility. Such animals or pets that have been approved must be on a leash or in a secured and enclosed pen, and under control at all times. The owner must take full responsibility for his or her animal or pet. Please contact Operations Department at 403.261.8559 for the “Animal Authorization Request” form.

 

Are there hotels nearby?

Exhibitors are offered a discounted room rate at our host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
There is a limited number of rooms in our room block. Book early to obtain best pricing. View the Hotel Accommodation for Exhibitors.
A web search will give you a list of hotels located near the Telus Convention Centre.

 

Will there be security for my booth?

Facility Security guards will be on duty 24 hours a day (on a roaming basis only) from the opening of move-in to the closing of move-out. Event Management does not accept any liability for loss or damage to the exhibitor’s booth or materials. All property of the exhibitor is understood to remain under the exhibitor’s custody and control, whether in transit to and from or within the confines of the exhibit space.
